Providence School, Sahibganj, is founded and is run by "The Sisters of Providence of Gap Society" registered under Societies Registration Act21//1860. It is private Christian Minority School receiving no grant from the Government of Jharkhand. The purpose of the institution is to impart to its pupils an integral development of their potentiality with a view to prepare them to greater social responsibility and commitment and to ensure a high sense of human, moral and religious principal and values.
The medium of instruction is English but very special emphasis is given to Hindi, the National Language.
